Maintenance tools for gunsmiths and armorers

Suppressors require regular maintenance and cleaning, particularly flow suppressors, which need to be cleaned after a certain number of rounds. Gunpowder residues will block the suppressor flow channels, affecting the suppressor’s performance. Blocked suppressor will have the same problems as baffle suppressors in self-loading rifles.

Silents Steel maintenance tools are specifically designed for gunsmiths and unit armorers who perform suppressors maintenance. With the right tools, the disassembly and assembly of the suppressor and parts replacement is not only easy but also efficient. These tools ensure that the maintenance process is smooth and hassle-free, providing professionals with the reliability they need.

Tube holder (TH)

The tube holder is designed to securely hold the suppressor in place and is made from durable nylon to prevent scratching the cerakote surface. The suppression unit can be easily removed and attached using the specialized Front Cap Tool. This accessory allows for quick and efficient maintenance, making it highly convenient for users who need to regularly service their equipment. The tube holder has slots for QD and direct thread adapters.

Turbine holder (TRBH)

The turbine holder accommodates both standard and Heavy Streamer turbines. It securely holds the suppression units in place, facilitating easy disassembly and assembly. The front cap and turbine can be removed using the Front Cap Tool.

Front Cap Tool (FCT)

The front cap tool fits securely into the grooves of the front cap and includes a 13mm nut designed to accommodate a torque wrench. By employing the torque wrench, you can apply the necessary force required to remove the suppression unit while ensuring the correct amount of force is used during reassembly. The front cap tool is indispensable for both disassembling and assembling the suppression unit, making it an essential component of the process.

Armorer wrench (AW)

The Armorer wrench is designed for convenient changing of both the front cap and turbine. It can be used as a wrench to easily remove the turbine with the turbine holder, ensuring a secure grip and efficient removal process. Additionally, the wrench doubles as a vise block to effortlessly remove the front cap with the Front cap Tool, providing a versatile and practical solution for maintenance tasks.
